The Visual Quiz Builder Product Recommendation Quiz ("the App”) provided by VQB LLC gives interactive customer-facing quiz configuration and display tools ("the Service") to merchants who use this to power their e-commerce stores (“the Site”). This Privacy Policy describes how Personal Information is collected, used, and shared when you install or use the App in connection with your store.
When you install the App to your store, we are able to access certain types of information from your account including customer details (such as names, email addresses, phone numbers, physical addresses, geolocations, IP addresses, and browser information), shop history (orders, transactions, and fulfillments), and current shop offerings (products, variants, collections, and inventory). This information is granted to us through the defined app permission scopes that need to be explicitly approved by the shop, and we do NOT actively use all of it. Our use of data is described in detail in the following sections of this policy.
Additionally, we collect the following types of Personal Information from you and/or your customers once you have installed the App: information about customer interactions on the Site, such as engagement with various features of the App or navigation between different pages; and information about your own configuration of the App, such as the total number of quizzes you create or the frequency of modifications to your quiz.
We collect Personal Information directly from the relevant individual, through your store account, or using the following technologies:

“Log files”, which track actions occurring on the Site, and collect data including your IP address, browser type, internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.
“Web beacons,” “tags,” and “pixels”, which are electronic files used to record information about how you browse the Site.
We use the Personal Information we collect from you and your customers in order to provide the Service and to operate the App. Additionally, we use this personal information to improve the App.
Specifically, we use customer details to associate individual interactions on the Site with anonymized user IDs in our own data. The records associated with those anonymized IDs are then used for statistical analysis purposes. Personally identifiable data like customer contact information or names are NOT used during the functioning of the App and are NOT used for any other purpose within VQB LLC.
We do NOT actively share any Personal Information with third parties unless you explicitly permit us to do so. However, we may be required to share Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.
If you are an European resident, you have the legal right to access Personal Information we hold about you and to ask that your Personal Information be updated or deleted. Additionally, if you are an European resident please note that we are processing your information in order to fulfill contracts we might have with you (for example if you make an order through the Site), or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above. Additionally, please note that your information may be transferred outside of Europe, including to Canada and the United States.
When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information or if we deem it appropriate to do so.
